Emily Jayne

Welcome to everything I need to know I learned from 17. My name is Emily Jane. I am a longtime podcast listener. I have been listening to podcasts since I bought my first iPhone and I regularly listen to over 100 different podcasts at a time. However, I have never wanted to start my own podcast until last summer. That's because, for the first time ever, I found myself wanting to talk a lot about something that none of my family and almost none of my friends are interested in, and that subject is K-pop. As a little more background, I teach high school English in Salt Lake City, utah.

Emily Jayne

About two years ago, several of my students did presentations on BTS and how amazing they are. Of course, I'd heard of BTS before, but I did not really know that much about them. Fast forward to later that summer June 26, 2022 to be exact when, as a teacher, I had a lot more time on my hands, so I decided to look into BTS. I started by looking up their dance performances on TikTok first. I used to dance back in college and when I lived in New York City, I went to as many performances of New York City Ballet and ABT and Alvin Ailey and Parsons and companies at the Joyce as I could. Needless to say, I have always loved watching dance performances, and BTS was no exception. I loved their choreo and their expressiveness. Pretty soon I was loving the music and, like every other K-pop stan before me, I just wanted to learn their names. That was just the beginning.

Emily Jayne

Since then, I have been on a quest to learn as much as I can about this K-pop phenomenon, mainly because I love the music, I love the dancing, but also because these artists are so charming and most of them are consummate entertainers as well as talented artists. They make me laugh more than I have in years, but even more than that. Over and over, I found myself learning some pretty key life lessons just by immersing myself in this content from the lyrics, but also from the idols themselves, but also from the idols themselves. Fast forward to today. I'm still a fan of BTS. I also love Stray Kids, nct, hype N TXT, shinee, rise Boy, next Door, tws and so many more. Recently, I've been getting into some girl groups a bit as well G-IDLE, twice, aespa, ive.

Emily Jayne

But in case you can't tell from the name of my podcast, my old group is Seventeen. When I first started listening to K-pop, seventeen's music stood out to me in a good way, as bright and cheerful. I loved their concept. I don't remember the first song I heard of theirs, but the first songs I purchased back in 2022 were Adore you, clap, boom, boom Rock With you, pretty you and Shining Diamond.

Emily Jayne

I'll share more of my journey into Carrotland as the podcast progresses, but just so you know, I am all in. Yes, I have a Seventeen phone case. I have started collecting albums, I stream their music to help them win awards and I am making my way through the Going Seventeen backlog. I even have a special license plate that says Carrot. I am also working on starting another K-pop related podcast, but as I was preparing that one, I realized that I really just wanted to talk more about Seventeen too, and this one I can pretty much do solo. So this podcast was born.

Headliners: April 17 to April 25

Emily Jayne

This podcast celebrates the music, talent, content and members of Seventeen. Each week, I will provide updates from Carrotland. The segment called Headliners will go over any news or activities of the group and its members. Next, I will do a deep dive into a life lesson I've learned from Seventeen, or a deep dive into one of their songs. Finally, I will wrap things up with a few recommendations. A favorite moment from Seventeen from the past and a few other K-pop and non-K-pop related recommendations, as well as a challenge question. I hope you will have as much fun listening to this podcast as I have talking about Seventeen. So let's get started with the very first headliner segment and dig into some news about Seventeen from this past week. As I was preparing this segment, I was stunned by how busy these men are. They were so active this week Because I have not generally tracked their activities this carefully before. I honestly do not know if this is an anomaly or if it is just due to the comeback coming up on Monday. Either way, I have so much material that it turned into too much material, so this week I will just have time to give my very favorite highlights. First I will start with some group activities. At the very top is, of course, the promotional photos and trailers that they have been releasing for the upcoming comeback on Monday.

Emily Jayne

This comeback, as I'm pretty sure most of you listening to this podcast already know, is entitled. 17 is Right here. It is mainly an anthology album with two CDs featuring 28 previously released hits. It will also feature four new songs.

Emily Jayne

So the anthology concept caused a little controversy. Some fandoms were saying it was imitating another group, which personally I find ridiculous because 17 has done anthology albums before. But, even more important, thousands upon thousands of musicians have been doing anthology albums for decades. But, even more important, thousands upon thousands of musicians have been doing anthology albums for decades, so it's not even a K-pop invention. But personally, I was more worried about an anthology album because sometimes musicians start to release these towards the end of their career. As much as I want these men to have wonderful, fulfilling lives, I also selfishly want them to keep doing their music thing forever and ever. However, hoshi has promised that there will be at least one more comeback coming later this year and even mentioned in a live this past week that they might in fact have two. That third one might be the BSS album that Dokyeom jokingly but maybe not jokingly mentioned earlier this year, or it might be a full group 17 album. Fingers crossed we get both. Back to the comeback.

Emily Jayne

There are four versions so far here, here, deer and Weavers. The here and here version outboxes are so beautiful. I love the art style. They look like townhouses and they feature nods to previous albums in the windows. The deer version is the carrot version. Technically there will be 13 of these because there are 13 different ones, one for each member. They've released some teaser photos for all of these albums and I love these.

Emily Jayne

It seems that there's been some criticism by some about the styling. Several of the members are wearing skirts and some people don't like that. Personally, I love it. They just honestly look amazing. But also I'm part Scottish, so men wearing skirts is definitely not a problem for me. Also, let's be real Koreans have been wearing hanbok for literally ages. According to some quick research I did, they started wearing hanbok in the times of the Three Kingdoms period, which starts in 57 BC, and again, they look amazing.

Emily Jayne

The other criticism I've heard is people did not like DK's well hat, according to him at least. This breaks my heart. If you are going to criticize anyone in 17, which you absolutely shouldn't, not only is it just terrible to criticize people on the internet that you do not even know, or even that you do know, but also if you are going to criticize anyone in 17, it absolutely positively, 100% should not be DK, who, based on all reports, is the purest of souls and is also a sensitive guy. Honestly and this is a soapbox of mine people need to stop treating idols as if they don't have feelings. So, all that aside, the photos are stunning. I love the textured look of the suits. They look so expensive in them. Then they dropped the images for the Carrot Deer version and I have not seen or heard a single complaint about these. Of course they are in simple white t-shirts and tank tops, but they still look incredible.

Emily Jayne

The album comes out this Monday, but there are already over 3 million pre-orders. That is currently a little or a lot under their last two album pre-orders. Fml, which set a record, was at 4.6 million, and 17th Heaven broke that record again and was over 5 million. Hopefully carrots will step it up and purchase some more, because I would love to see this album beat that record too. I know I've done my part to help put this one over 5 million. I hope others can help out as well.

Emily Jayne

As per usual, 17 has also released trailers for their upcoming new songs. There are four new songs. Maestro is the whole group's on, and it definitely takes a different turn than God of Music. It sounds heavier, darker, more aggressive. It does have a piano element, but it's pretty faint in the clip we got. In fact, it sounds more like the music we usually get from the hip hop unit. The hip hop unit song is La La Lee.

Emily Jayne

I'm already loving the lines we got from Vernon. He has such a great rhythmical rapping style and some of the sounds they're making are just so cool. Just an example of why I love K-pop it experiments with sounds in such fun ways. Spell is the performance unit song and Hoshi and Minghao just kill it in their sections. I absolutely cannot wait to see what choreo they come up with this time. Finally, cheers to Youth is the vocal line song and this is probably my favorite of all four. Based on the little clips we've got so far, the vocals are off the charts. The bass at least I think it's a bass I'm showing my musical deficiency here is so addicting and then it kicks into anime overdrive. Part of the reason why I think I love Seventeen's music so much is because I'm 100% sure Wooji is influenced by all the anime openings he's watched through the years. I'm an anime fan as well, so I love seeing that energy and vibe sneaking in.

Emily Jayne

And on top of all this, seventeen has released two trailers for the music video. The first one starts with a notice saying In our current reality, where anything can be created with AI. Who is the real maestro? A portion of the footage in this video was created using AI. Before I even discuss what's in the trailers, I have to tackle this. This is such an interesting artistic choice, considering.

Emily Jayne

Artists all over the world are currently feeling threatened by AI, and rightly so. It was a sticking point with the Screen Actors Guild and the Writers Guild in their strikes last year. The New York Times has sued OpenAI and Microsoft for their use of New York Times articles to train ChatG. Gpt Authors, musicians, photographers and more are justifiably concerned about AI replacing them and generally with subpar products. As an English teacher, I am concerned about students skirting the tough work of learning how to think and write critically, because it is hard, but writing is also a critical tool for developing skills that only come through that work. So I have to say I am surprised to see that Seventeen, as creative artists themselves, is intentionally incorporating AI into their video. I'm curious to know more about their process and look forward to seeing an Inside Seventeen video about it. I'm also curious to listen to the lyrics and see what, if any, insights Uji is going to share about this very relevant issue and what his take is, as an insider in the music industry, now about the trailer itself and now about the content in the trailers themselves.

Emily Jayne

They are so unbelievably cool. I am loving the dystopia vibes so much. When the first images and teasers came out, comment sections were cheering what they called dark teen, and now I can see why. In the first trailer, the first member we see is Jun, which is perfect. He has a very expressive face, so that closeup was incredible. And then that trailer is bookended with the other rumored soon to be actor Wonwoo. It was such a great juxtaposition between the plaintive bars of classical music at the very beginning of the trailer and the jarring synthetic, robotic sounds. The glimpses of the other members were way too short, but thankfully that second trailer remedied that and we got to see a lot more of that dystopian vision. One of the other images definitely stuck with me, and that is Hoshi surrounded by armed guards. I really can't wait to see more. Luckily we only have a few more days.

Solo Mix Tapes: April 17 to April 25

Emily Jayne

Seventeen also announced that there will be music videos for all four of their new songs, including all of the unit songs. Seungkwan posted that it's the first time in seven years that this has happened and also shared that the unit songs were his favorite. The Maestro music video will release on April 29th, la La Lee will release May 10th, spell will come out on May 17th and Cheers to Youth's music video will release on May 24th. Now on to the solo mixtapes. This is where I will feature my favorite thing each member has done this past week. I'm going to have to breeze through this part just because there was so much to cover in the group section, so this week I will only briefly mention my top favorite thing that each member did. In the future I might get to discuss more for each one. I will just have to see if this onslaught of content is normal or if it's just due to the comeback For S-Scoops.

Emily Jayne

My favorite thing has got to be the live where he lifted weights. Not necessarily because he was lifting weights although I do love seeing him be so active despite his injury but because of the related interaction between him and Hoshi. He originally posted a photo with the weights on his knees. Then Hoshi teased him, saying that he could easily have just kept them there without lifting them. So S-Coups followed up with a video to prove that he actually did lift them. I just love the member interactions. This is part of what drew me to Seventeen in the first place. I love their friendships. I love their love for each other.

Emily Jayne

Moving on to Jong-un Although I'm tempted to say the magazine cover from the May 5th issue of Days Korea, because he eats cameras for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ultimately it was his part in the Going 17 episode that released this last week, the Musical Airs episode. He wasn't in it for very long but for me he was the MVP, mainly because I loved watching him set up Dino to have to eat the Chongyang peppers. I looked it up and those peppers rate 10,000 on the Scoville scale. That's about a medium, so it could have been worse, but it was so masterful to watch Dong-on lead Dino into the trap by praising him and saying he was good at everything so he had no excuse for not eating it. The other moment was when he said he had done the breathing for Rain Song.

Emily Jayne

It was just so random that for Joshua I'm combining him with DK because it is the TikTok that they did together, specifically the TikTok of them doing the cat walking over the frozen Han River meme. I can't say I understand why this meme caught on, but whatever the reason, it did result in us getting a cute interaction between them. I just love Sookso interactions. They are both so dang adorable. Love Suk so interactions. They are both so dang adorable. Even before Seventeen became my old group. I would just need to see Joshua or DK and I would immediately start smiling. In DK's case, it is probably because he is always smiling and it's so hard not to smile when he's smiling. I also just love how they both lean into their adorable side together. They definitely know their strengths and our weaknesses.

Emily Jayne

On to Jun I saw some behind the scene clips for his upcoming appearance on Detective Adventures. This is a Korean variety show. I have never seen any previous episodes and I honestly don't know what it's about, but you can bet that I will definitely be watching the one that June is on when it airs. There was even a clip showing him dancing. We couldn't see it very clearly though, so I can't wait to see the real thing. Now it's Hoshi's turn. This man has been super active, so it is almost impossible to pick just one thing, but ultimately, for me, the Hoshi headliner this week has got to be the TikTok challenge he did with Dino.

Emily Jayne

That man is quite simply my favorite dancer in all of K-pop. Yes, I know Taemin and Kai and Mark Lee and J-Hope and Jimin and Ten and Winwin and Nicki and Hyunjin and Lino and Hyunjin all of these men exist and I love them all, along with so many others that I didn't just name, especially some of those pretty incredible up-and-coming fifth-generation dancers. But Hoshi just has this X factor that, for me, sets him above the rest. It is just a personal taste thing. I can't tell you the number of times that I have watched his spider performance or his rengi performances. Of times that I have watched his spider performance or his rengi performances. I probably spent at least 10 minutes watching this latest TikTok on a loop. He's just so brilliant and fun to watch. And while we're here, I'll mention this is also my favorite Dino moment too.

Emily Jayne

Even though Hoshi is my favorite dancer in all of K-pop, that doesn't mean I can ignore Dino. As we all know, dancing is in that man's DNA. He's been training since he was a little and it shows he makes things look effortless. I love watching them showcase their talents and skills together. Up next is Wonwoo. He did an adorable TikTok as well, and of course, I had to watch this several times too. Wonwoo's hair right now is really peak Wonwoo. He just looks so unrealistically approachable right now. Loved his smile at the beginning of the TikTok too. He has such a genuine smile For Wooji.

Emily Jayne

Unfortunately, as far as I know, we did not get any appearances from him this week. This is probably because he is busy composing even more music so that we will never run out. I do know that some people begged Hoshi on his live to ask Uji to show up on Weverse, and Hoshi correctly reminded us that Uji has been working hard for all of us between producing music and preparing for the concert and probably much more that we don't even know about, and he just needs to rest. I think we sometimes forget that he is the music mastermind behind everything, and every time there is a new arrangement for a concert or a show that means extra work for him. That man is a musical genius, so I will never begrudge whatever time and space he needs to recover. As a writer and a budding artist myself, I totally understand that the creative process can be exhausting. It is rewarding and fun and magical, working so hard to create something you can be proud of, but it takes a lot of energy as well.

Emily Jayne

Minghao is next and my favorite thing that he did this week was also the cat walking on the frozen river meme, mainly because this man scolded everyone on his life saying that he would never, ever do it. Then he went to did it for us anyway. I just love Minghao. He reminds me of my dad in a not weird way, I promise. Several times before I left for college I would ask my dad for something I wanted of his. One time it was a speaker for a computer. I would jokingly say, hey, can I have that? He would, of course, rightfully say no, because it was his and he needed it. Then a few weeks would pass and I would be packing up and getting ready to leave for college and inevitably he would show up and give me whatever random thing I had asked for earlier. And inevitably he would show up and give me whatever random thing I had asked for earlier. This is Minghao. He scolds us for asking him for silly things, but then he gives it to us anyway.

Emily Jayne

For Mingyu, it is his 17 record about his trip to California. Yes, this was posted earlier this month, but I watched it again this week and it was just so beautiful. I mean, mingyu is beautiful, but, as us carrots know Mingyu is so much more than the stunningly handsome man that he is. He's adventurous, fun-loving, people-loving, smart, genuine, charming and easygoing. I love watching him enjoy life. I loved watching his flexibility when his tire went flat. I loved watching him dancing while he's eating which, by the way, that was another favorite part of the Going 17 episode. This week. Mingyu was definitely enjoying his lunch while everyone else was busy acting and performing. Not to say that he didn't, but he really knows when to enjoy his food. I love how much he loves his friends. Even his manor legs, as the editors called it, to match Bumzu's height. He's such a charmer in almost every way possible.

Emily Jayne

I already spoke about DK with Joshua, so, moving on to Seungkwan, for Seungkwan it was the way too short 17 record of his Paris Fashion Week appearance. As we all know, this man is a walking entertainer, even while sitting and getting his hair and makeup done. He can't help it, and I just loved his eye movement exercise trick that he did to alleviate fatigue. I 100% expect Hoshi to imitate this the next time they do a part switch. Vernon appeared on a variety show this week. I'm not sure which one it is, because I did not recognize the host and I saw it on TikTok and I only saw a clip. He was wearing an eye patch due to some pollen allergies and I just love this because he was so cute to explain. But then I also realized again how much scrutiny these men are under all the time and how people are noticing and picking apart every little single thing they do. I can't imagine the burden that that must be and I just respect them all so much for handling that. I already discussed my Dino highlight with Hoshi. So that's the end of the solo mixtapes for this week.

Emily Jayne

As I said, there has been a lot of content over the past week. The upcoming comeback has added to that amount considerably, but it may just be that the members are always this busy and I never noticed exactly how busy until I started trying to track it for this podcast. If so, I may have to adjust this segment a little, moving forward, and not feature each of the members each week or something, because this episode is already about 30 minutes in and I still haven't arrived at the main event, or at least it's the main event for me. If anyone ends up listening to this. I would love to get your input on what you would prefer Shorter episodes with just a few news items, or do you like the longer episodes covering each of the members? Do you want even more or would you like less? Let me know what you are interested in hearing me discuss and what your favorite moments of the week are too. I would love to include those on future episodes as well. At the end of each episode, I will include my email and socials so you can reach out.

Emily Jayne

Now, moving on to what, for me, is the main reason I started this podcast to share life lessons that I have learned from Seventeen. I'm going to alternate how I do this. One week, I will share a life lesson that I have learned from watching Seventeen interactions or something that they've said or done. On the other weeks, I will do a deep dive into one Seventeen song. I have the first few songs already selected, but I would love to get audience input on that as well. So if you have a favorite song and would like me to discuss it, please reach out on email or socials. On this very first episode, my kidult segment, as I'm calling this section, is a life lesson. I learned from all of the members, but probably a little bit more from Ouji.

Emily Jayne

I think most of you, if not all of you listening to this, already know the backstory for Seventeen that they started off in the Malona basement room, also known as the green room due to its bright green walls. Also known as the Green Room due to its bright green walls. That they were initially given random pseudonyms like Mr Hat and Mr Dumbbell, and the company broadcast content called 17TV. For four or five seasons, the group makeup evolved New trainees joined, some trainees left. As for the content they aired, they had different missions and singing challenges and a whole bunch of random stuff. Ostensibly, these shows were meant to help them select the final members, but the CEO has said that at one point, he started to wonder what if all of them actually debuted. In the end, 13 members remained. They were supposed to debut in 2013, but their debut date kept getting pushed off. Lettuce, their company was struggling financially, so the members took some things into their own hands.

Emily Jayne

At some point, teenage Wooji thought what about if I write music myself? So he did. He had studied classical music and already knew how to play a couple of instruments, but he jumped in and started producing music on his own and he ended up contributing to the writing of all five songs on their debut album. I saw a stat somewhere saying that he has since produced 80% of Seventeen's music. As of November 2023, wooji has 156 song credits registered with the Korean Music Copyright Association. That places him as number 8 on the list of idols with song credits registered with the Korean Music Copyright Association. That places him as number eight on the list of idols with song credits. This is not to say that he does it alone. Wooji collaborates with Beomgyu, another Pledis artist, along with other Seventeen members, other outside producers and Pledis employees as well. But this inspires me so much. It all started 10 years ago when a teenage kid decided to push himself to learn something new. Personally, I think Wooji is a musical genius, but also he is hardworking and dedicated and motivated.

Emily Jayne

10 years is a long time, but it is also not a long time. If someone came to you and said you could be one of the best in the world at what you do if you could just work really, really, really, really hard for 10 years, wouldn't you take that opportunity? Now I know that it is a long shot. In fact, the world, both past and present, is sadly full of artists and entrepreneurs who had talent and skill and genius, but they just did not get their lucky break. So, unrealistically striving to be recognized as the best in the world may not be the best way to find purpose and happiness in life.

Emily Jayne

But maybe we don't strive to be the best in the world. Instead, what if we just strive to be the absolute best that we can be in 10 years, at whatever we are passionate about? What if we stop telling ourselves that it is too late or there is little chance of success? What if we can just recapture a little of that teenage naivete and think that anything is possible? I think there is something magical about those teenage years that we tend to forget or lose sight of as we mature. As teenagers, we still had our whole lives ahead of us and we still thought we could be anything we wanted to be. Maybe even more important, we were even willing to try new things, because nobody our age was really super stellar at anything yet. Yes, some people were better at sports and some people were better at art or studying. So we did have some strengths and weaknesses, of course, but let's be honest, honest. None of us were the best in the world at what we were doing. We still knew we had a long way to go before we could become that. As a result, we were willing to continue working at our dreams, but somewhere along the way we generally stopped being willing to try new things, or we take them on as hobbies or side projects instead of passion projects.

Emily Jayne

Or at least I did, and maybe a large part of that was the burden I placed on myself to be impossibly great at something right out of the gate. I have always wanted to write a novel, but in my mind I wanted it to be the next great American novel. It had to be so stellar that it would blow everyone away, win awards and be studied in high school English classes, and if it wasn't, I thought it would be a failure and it wouldn't be worth starting. Because of these way too high expectations and my fear of failure, I didn't even start writing that novel, and I probably held myself back in many other ways as well. And that's a shame Because, although I doubt I would have really written that great American novel, my skills and talents would definitely have been better if I had started 10 years ago. I could have been better now than I am now, and that's just time wasted. So thank you for inspiring me to just go out and try my artistic pursuits and push myself to be better. Thank you for helping me to realize that my goal should really just be to be better at it than I currently am and to give myself the space to be bad at something when I first start. That's okay, and Wooji's not the only one to inspire me in this way.

Emily Jayne

Similarly, hoshi contributed to choreo for two of their debut songs. I've seen pictures of his formation drawings and choreo notes from that time. This is a teenage kid spending hours thinking not just about studying for a test which please don't get me wrong I am a high school teacher, so of course I think that's important, but also it is not the only important thing and probably not even the most important thing. Anyway, this is a teenage kid working endlessly to learn how to dance and sing and act properly in front of a camera so he can debut as an idol, but also adding to all of that by spending hours creating choreo for his group. Adding to all of that by spending hours creating choreo for his group. From what I understand, seungkwan worked tirelessly to book appearances and promote Seventeen. When they first debuted, he didn't know what he was doing when he first started, that Mingyu designed and printed stickers and posters and merch to give to fans. I heard somewhere that Vernon recorded their first music video, but I couldn't find confirmation for that when I went back to look at it, but I think that's true as well.

This Week's Adore U, Baksu, & Mansae Recommendations

Emily Jayne

S-scoops attended business and planning meetings to make sure that the group and its members' best interests were always considered. From the very beginning, every single one of the 17 members pushed themselves in various ways, not being afraid to learn new things, even if it meant starting at ground zero, where you are still pretty bad. Yes, 17 are incredibly, amazingly, unbelievably talented. Yes, they were born and blessed with phenomenal gifts. They had at least some of that genius when they first started, or they wouldn't have passed the auditions. But I truly believe that each and every one of us also has some spark of genius. It's just that we sometimes allow ourselves to be dragged down by life or we don't nurture it with true hard work and dedication. So what have I learned from 17? It is okay to be bad at something when you start, but don't let that stop you. Try new things. Learn new things, because 10 years is a long time, but also not a long time, and you just might be incredibly, amazingly, unbelievably good at something if you pursue it diligently. In other words, lesson number one in the immortal words of Busuk Sun just do it Well. That's about it for my first episode, of everything I need to know I learned from Seventeen.

Emily Jayne

But before I go, I want to share a few recommendations. This is one of the things I love about other podcasts, so I want to share some too. The first will be the adore you moment. This is a recommendation from the Seventeen backlog, something not so recent, that I love and I want everyone else to enjoy as well. My first Adore you moment is the Going Seventeen episode. That cemented Seventeen's place in my heart as my alts. It is Best Friends. Many of you have probably already seen the Rose of Sharon, red Light, green Light game, but I saw the full makeshift ping pong game and dongasu games for the first time this week as well, and they are 100 pure joy and laughter. These games so perfectly capture what we all love about 17 their humor, their camaraderie, their gamesmanship, their chaos, their willingness to do almost anything for a laugh, but also how much they just enjoy being with each other. So we enjoy it too. Do yourself a favor and go watch or rewatch this this week.

Emily Jayne

Next up is a non 17 K-pop recommendation. In keeping with the theme, I'm going to call this a boxu moment. This week it is the TikTok challenge by Boi Next Door that they did to promote their new comeback Earth, wind, fire on April 12th. I love, love, love the music. It is so catchy and addicting, but I also love their dance as well. It is so fun and random. It makes me laugh every time I see it. But it also showcases just how good these idols are. These fourth man, these fifth generation groups are incredible.

Q&A Challenge Question

Then for a non-K-pop recommendation, what I will call my Monse recommendation. This recommendation is for one of any number of paint by numbers kits out there. Yes, this is not the same as painting your own work, but it is not intended to be. It is so calming. It is almost like meditation. For me it's like those adult coloring books, but personally I think it's better because you are also developing fine motor skills. I have done several now and over my spring break I would just get in a flow state and work for hours on them. It has been a mental health gift for me over the last few months and at the end, you have something pretty awesome to decorate your walls with.

Last of all, I want to end with a challenge question for anyone who might be listening to this right now or in the future. This is my Q&A, which, by the way, is such an underrated 17 song or at least I think it is underrated because I never hear anyone talking about it and I love it so much. So my challenge question is who do you think my biases are? I have two absolute old biases plus one bias wrecker, plus 10 wreckers for my bias wrecker, in case you can't tell, I love them all and I think the world of all 13 of these men. But who do you think my twots are? I'll share the answer in my next episode.

Okay, of course there is an Aju Nice. It's not as great as the Aju Nice, but I couldn't leave without my emails and socials. If you have any comments, suggestions, feedback hopefully nice feedback, recommendations, requests, please send them my way at everythingilearned17, and 17 is spelled out at gmailcom. I will also be opening up an Insta and TikTok soon. I will keep you posted about these once I do. Until then, and it's for real this time fighting.
